Some years ago I was commisioned to write the novel of the Tank Girl film. I've put the whole text of this on my website. You can read more about the book, and download the text, from this page.
I wrote a play with my friend Doon MacKichan. It's a version of Jane
Austen's Emma, and it has been performed quite successfully
by many theatre companies. More details on this

My favourite TV programme. I love Buffy. In my flat it is difficult to move without bumping into a Buffy video.
Now Buffy has come to an end. It's a severe blow. I don't know what to say about it, really. I've followed Buffy since the first episode, Wellcome to the Hellmouth, was shown on BBC. I never missed an episode. I got cable so I could see the episodes earlier. Later on, I had videos sent to me from a friend in the USA so I could see them all as soon as they were shown. It's a depressing thought that there will never be a new episode of Buffy.
In June I went to the Buffy convention in London, which was fun. I bought a Sunnydale High School t-shirt. Ha ha, I am a complete Buffy nerd.

Ancient Greece
One of my favourite subjects, particularly classical Athens. I can be quite boring about this. I can't help it.
This is Aristophanes, the Athenian dramatist, who was born in 447 B.C. (well, the picture is meant to be Aristophanes but I'm not certain it really is)
I've tried to set a work of fiction in ancient Greece but I've never been able to write anything I was satisfied with. I thought that having Lux the Poet reincarnate in Athens might be a good idea but it didn't work very well. I might try it again some time.
